Learning Digital Expressive Arts in Switzerland
Day Sixteen of Digital Arts and Media

today we had a lecture from Peter Sinapius. he shared a theoretical and philosophical look at "the third." this is a rendering of my notes from the lecture. let's play around of "GUESS WHAT'S IN MY HEAD!" sometimes i cannot remember what my notes really mean. i love myself the way i am, and i still sometimes wish i was a little more linear. :)
the lecture was great, though, and gave me a different viewpoint on aesthetics as the basis of our stories throughout history. see if you can find that anywhere in my notes:

<== my classmates, Alexandra, Ula, Sylvia, Cheri, Nina and i each wrote one line of this little poem that we performed on performance night
we created a little museum using the prompt: what represents you? in my piece were the MamaTrees, tea, lots of colorful fabrics, papercutting materials. we all drank tea from my display during class. good times. ==>
i want to do a few Museum of Me projects back in Santa Cruz. i'm thinking i'll start with an expressive arts workshop with a focus on identity in which we develop ideas and materials with which to fill a gallery space
assignment part 1: paint using only yellow, white, and black
assignment part 3: the class makes the sounds that they "see" in the painting while you read your "I am" statements out loud.
assignment part 2:
write for two minutes what the painting is saying to you starting with "I am..."
assignment part 4: listen to the amazing creation!
